Founder and teacher
I've been a teacher for over 15 years, including 9 years as a credit counselor and 7 years as a dance instructor. Ever since opening KoreanLearnin, I've taught Korean for over 5 years to more than 1,100 students. As a Korean American, I understand the struggles English-speaking students face, so we break concepts down in English and explain the reason behind every rule. You will never hear βit is just because it isβ in my class!

As a native Korean speaker and Linguistics major at Korea University, I help students understand not only how Korean works, but how to speak it naturally and confidently. I also double-major in English and French, which gives me a strong understanding of what it feels like to be in your shoes as a language learner!
I have over 1.5 years of teaching experience. My classes are encouraging and structured with plenty of speaking practice and real-life examples. I'm also a big K-pop fan (BLACKPINK!!) and love incorporating Korean culture into class.
